Description

A white cotton ½-apron with repeating black pattern vertical stripes, with a pleated waist, and a 1" wide Swedish braid waistband and ties in white, black and blue.  The left side of the ties have been fashioned into a loop and have a metal hook that connects to the end of the tie on the right side.  Worn as part of a widow's traditional provincial folk dress, or folk drakt, costume in Leksand, Dalarna, Sweden.  Unattributed.
