Description

A cotton table runner designed for Gammelgarden Museum of Scandia by Ekelund Master Weavers of Horred, Sweden.  The runner features green lengthwise borders with a horizontal black panel along the lower half of the linen that features floral kurbits centered around “Gammelgarden”, and a horizontal white band across the upper half of the center that features black silhouettes of the buildings from the Gammelgarden grounds.  One of eight - see also TX-0168-26 through TX-0175-26 for the matching table runners.  Tag:  “Ekelund Master Weavers Since 1692, Cotton / Baumwolle 100%, Made at Linnevaveriet, Horred, Sweden”.  Tag: “Ekelund, Textile of the Year 2011, ‘Gammelgarden’, 14 x 47 inch, Bomull, 100% Cotton, Baumwolle, Pixelweaving”.
