Description

A cotton table runner designed for and purchased by Gammelgarden Museum from Ekelund Master Weavers of Horred, Sweden.  The runner features horizontal green borders around a horizontal black and white central panel; on the lower black panel are floral kurbits centered around ‘Gammelgarden’, and on the upper white panel are black silhouettes of the Gammelgarden Museum buildings.  One of eight - see also TX-0168-26 through TX-0175-26 for matching table runners.  Tag: “Ekelund Master Weavers, Since 1692, Cotton / Baumwolle 100%, Made at Linnevaveriet, Horred, Sweden.”  Tag: “Ekelund, Textile of the Year 2011, ‘Gammelgarden’, Bomull, 100% Cotton, Baumwolle, Pixelweaving”.
