Description
Two color cotton and wool jacquard coverlet woven by Samuel Meily. It has "Samuel Meily, Mansfield, Richland, Ohio 1851" woven into each corner. Samuel Meily wove coverlets in Mansfield, Ohio from 1837 - 1857 and each one was dated the year he wove them. Taken/Studio/Manufacture: Circa: 1851
