This Mid-Century Modern solid brass altar cross features a polished finish with a raised "IHS" monogram in the center. Manufacturer by Sudbury Brass Goods Co., commonly produced around 1953. Very heavy, approximately 13 pounds. Features includes a three-step base and is designed for sanctuary. Cross used at the Zion Lutheran Church in Adrian. There is an engraved inscription: “ In memory of Daniel Schei”on the front base plate.
