Description

A brown leather pocket purse, or waist pocket, with a black ink stamped reindeer head (with antlers) on the front side central panel, a leather loop with a sueded leather strap on the back.  The sueded leather straps feature leather tassels at each end.  Worn as part of a Sami, or Saami, or Sapmi, women's traditional folk dress, or folk drakt, outfit.  See also C-0259-15 for a similar Sami leather pocket purse.  Unattributed.
