Description

A scarf, or collar, made of felted wool that snaps into place inside a Sami tunic (see C-0527a-26).  The scarf, or collar, consists of rows of felted wool in alternating colors of blue, golden yellow, red, green and white.  Some of these rows feature beaded and/or embroidered details.  The back of the collar is lined with ivory silk, which peeks over the top of the scarf/collar.  Part of a traditional Sami, or Saami, or Sapmi, outfit.  See also C-0527c-26 for a belt that also accompanies this outfit.  Unattributed.
