Description

A women's frame cap (bindmössa SV), or hat.  Purple silk with yellow floral embroidery, white machine-made lace trim, a large purple silk back bow, and blue fabric lining.  Framed, or shaped, with wire inserts around the front and back.  Worn as part of a women's traditional provincial Swedish folk dress, or folkdräkt, costume.  Unattributed.
