Description

A brown leather pocket purse, or waist pocket, with cutouts backed with red, blue, green and yellow felt and trimmed with white thread.  Brown suede trim and back, brown scalloped leather around the opening, and a brass clasp and hook with heart cutouts.  Worn as part of a women's traditional provincial folk dress, or folk drakt, costume from Ostergotland, Sweden.  See also C-0548a-26 through C-0548g-26 for the other pieces of this costume.  Unattributed.
