Description

A felt pocket purse with blue felt front and red felt trim.  Tan felt back and top, with matching thread zigzag stitching across the top.  The blue felt body features felt appliques in red and copper with white and mint green round appliques, all embellished with copper thread stitching.  Around the appliques is a stitched ‘spider web’ in pink.  Red matte ribbon strap.  Worn as part of a women's traditional Sami, or Saami, or Sapmi, folk dress, or folk drakt, outfit.  Unattributed.
