Description

A woven wool wall hanging (with wool weft and cotton warp) depicting a Midsummer maiden in folk dress, or folk drakt, surrounded by stylized lavender and green flowers, with a white church in the upper right corner, and framed by a woven grey border.  The original braided fringe has been sewn down on the back of the piece.  21st Century.  Unattributed.  Original Gammelgarden artifact number H-1136-20.
