Description
A pocket purse made of red satin with floral chain embroidery in blue, green, yellow and white.  With pink/salmon fabric trim around the sides and a red, blue and white floral Swedish braid strap.  Pink canvas back.  Worn as part of a women's traditional provincial folk dress, or folk drakt, costume from Stora Tuna, Dalarna, Sweden.  Note from donor: “Stora Tuna, Dalarna, 1950's”.  Unattributed.
