Description

A women's silk jacket with a high collar, wide lapels, and long sleeves. Features three rows of beading (two rows of clear beads around a row of multi-colored beads) on the collar, waist, upper arms, lapels, and cuffs. Also features boning, brown lining, and hook-and-eye closure. Heavily damaged - fabric beneath the lapels is violet/purple. The brittle fabric also has water and sweat stains. Dated to the late-1800's. Unattributed.
