Correspondence related to FOIA request for records of payments made to Laotian citizens by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) between Dec 1, 1968 and Dec 31, 1968. The CIA responded to the request by stating that it could “neither confirm nor deny the existence or nonexistence of records” because “the fact of the existence or nonexistence of records is currently and properly classified information relating to intelligence sources and methods.”
