Description
A female doll made of composite material, cloth, paint, fiber and wood.  Depicts a traditional Swedish provincial folk dress costume.  This outfit includes a black skirt with a red trim/hem, a black ½-apron with a red hem and a printed floral band in blue, red and yellow, a red sash with painted patterns on the ends in blue and yellow, a white blouse with lace on the cuffs and collar and a silver-tone pin at the neck, a red vest with black trim, gold-tone buttons and black lacing closure, a long black cape with red trim and silver-tone buttons with a chain closure at the neck, a red and white twisted/spiral headband, painted red stockings, painted black shoes, and white cotton bloomers.  The doll features off-white, or pale blonde, fiber for hair worn in a bun and painted facial features.  The doll is mounted, or stands on, a round wood base.  Sticker: “Hantverk” on a Swedish flag (Handmade in Sweden).
