Description

A conical shaped doll made of wood, Styrofoam, felt, Swedish braid, glue, plastic and synthetic fiber.  The outfit made of felt includes a green skirt glued to the styrofoam lower body, an off-white ½-apron with a horizontal band of Swedish braid in red, white and green, a red vest with a vertical band of Swedish braid in red, white and green, and an off-white blouse and cap (or bonnet).  The figure holds a wood tray with hearts carved in the ends that features a braided loaf of bread set upon a white and red piece of cloth.  With a plastic head with painted facial features and ‘blonde’ synthetic fiber hair.  Wood round base glued to the bottom of the ‘body’.  See also DD-0276-26 for a similar doll.  Unattributed.
