Description

A female doll made of composite material, wire, wood, fabric, paint and yarn.  Depicts the traditional Swedish National costume, featuring a blue skirt, a yellow ½-apron with a blue band with white daisies, blue straps with white daisies, a white blouse, white knit stockings, white bloomers, and black fabric feet/shoes.  With a round natural wood head with painted facial features and ‘blonde’ yarn hair with curls and a pair of side braids.  Holds a small Swedish flag on a white thread strap with the right hand.  With a gold corn loop on the top of the head.  Signed: “Peggy Spacken, 2014” on the back of the head below the hairline.  See also DD-0284-26 for accompanying male doll.
