Description

A male doll made of fabric, wire, wood, paint and paper.  Depicts the traditional Swedish National costume.  This costume includes yellow knickers, a blue felt vest with three white buttons and stitched white daisies, a white shirt with a blue ribbon tie, white knit stockings, and black fabric shoes/feet.  The doll has a natural round wood head with painted facial features, ‘blonde’ yarn hair worn in short curl, and round natural wood hands.  There is a metal hook on the top of the head with a gold cord looped through.  The figure holds a small Swedish flag on a white cord with its left hand.  Signed on the back of the head: “Peggy Spacken 2014”.  See also DD-0281-26 for the accompanying female doll.
