Description
A female doll made of fabric, wire, wood and yarn.  Depicts the traditional provincial folk dress, or folk drakt, of Oxie Harad, Skane, Dalarna, Sweden.  This outfit includes a dark blue skirt, a blue ½-apron with vertical stripes in pink, blue, white, aqua, yellow and brown with a black, blue and red Swedish braid waistband and back ties, a blue, brown and gold brocade vest with brown trim, a white blouse with a ruffled collar, a blue cap with gold trim, white bloomers, white stockings, and natural wood shoes.  The doll features yellow, or blonde, yarn hair worn in a pair of braids with red ribbon ties and painted facial features.  Tag: “Charlotte Weibull, Malmo, Sweden ©”.  Original Gammelgarden artifact number D-0318-12
