Description
A female doll made of fabric, wire, wood, paint and thread.  Depicts the traditional provincial folk dress, or folk drakt, of Blekinge, Sweden.  This outfit includes a dark blue dress, a ½-apron with vertical stripes in black, pink, light blue, yellow, green, and white with a black Swedish braid waistband and back ties with rose and blue bands and white stitching, and a red headband.  The doll features yellow thread hair worn in back braids that are pinned up, painted facial features, a wood post and round wood base lower body.  Sticker: “Charlotte Weibull, Akarp, Sweden”.  Original Gammelgarden artifact number C-0176-09.
