Description

A quadruple plate silver cover for a communion plate.  With a curved top, raised round handle with raised dots around the top rim, and a 1/8" lip that rests upon the accompanying communion plate.  Part of a set of three pieces, see also R-0015a-26 and R-0015b-26 for the other pieces of this set.  Attribution stamped on the bottom of R-0015a-26: “Pairpoint Mfg. Co., New Bedford, Mass., Quadruple Plate, 303L”.  Produced between 1880 and 1900.
