Description

A Sami, or Saami, or Sapmi, girl porcelain figurine on a green slab base.  Depicted in traditional Sami folk dress, or folk drakt.  This painted outfit includes a blue tunic with red and yellow trim at the bottom hem and red trim at the cuffs and a black belt with silver dots and an oval silver buckle, blue pants with yellow trim with red ties at the ankles, a white scarf with a traditional Swedish folk dress pin of a ring with three silver dangling diamond-shaped pieces, a red hat/cap with a border of red floral Swedish braid and a mini white lace veil, and brown leather shoes.  Features a pair of brown braids with red bow ties and painted facial features.  Unattributed.  Sticker on back: “10-”.
