This is an early cylindrical cardboard canister of Quaker Rolled White Oats. : The iconic round cardboard packaging was first introduced by The Quaker Oats Company in 1915 to replace their original square boxes. The full-body illustration features the original 19th-century "Quaker Man" holding a scroll that reads "PURE". This traditional full-length depiction was utilized prior to the design being updated to a closer portrait crop in 1947. The bottom of the canister displays key milling locations for the brand, including Akron, Ohio; Peterborough, Canada; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Saskatoon, Canada; and Fort Dodge, Iowa.
