Description

Title: Buffalo Horns Accs. #1963.060.0001.PC Size/what: 10" x 3.5" dia Buffalo Horns Collection: 3-D Miscellaneous Collection Description: The dark buffalo horn was picked up on the prairie north of Rushmore, Minnesota in the early '70's. In its original state it was rough as the other horns of this collection but it has been cut and filed down and polished. Age and time does not seem to decay the harder portions of the horn. The Gray horn was picked up in Little Rock Township, Nobles County in the early 70's. This shows that buffalo roamed the plains of Northwestern Iowa and Southwestern Minnesota. The preceding was typwritten on a tag attached to each horn. Taken/Studio/Manufacture: Circa:
