Description

A female decorative doll made of corn husks, Styrofoam, fabric, straw and ribbon.  The body is comprised of Styrofoam wrapped in corn husks, and is adorned in a dark green skirt with a white dot pattern, a white cotton eyelet ½-apron with white satin ribbon waistband and ties, a white cotton blouse with an eyelet detail on the sleeves and green ribbon ties at the cuffs, bodice, and neck - which also features a decorative pink flower, and an off-white scarf with a pink and blue floral pattern.  The corn husk hair is worn in two back braids with green ribbon ties.  The arms and hands are formed with bundled straw.  See also DD-0348b-26 through DD-0348d-26 for accompanying items.  See DD-0349a-26 and DD-0349b-26 for a similar corn husk doll.  Unattributed.
