Description

A corn husk doll made of corn husks, Styrofoam, fabric, ribbon, and bottle brush.  Dressed in a skirt with black and off-white vertical stripes with coral flowers and green leaves, a white cotton eyelet ½-apron with white satin ribbon waistband and ties, a white cotton eyelet blouse with coral satin ribbon bows at the cuffs, a beige scarf with orange flowers and greenery, and a “cap” with orange flowers and green satin ribbons and bows.  The corn husk hair is worn in a pair of back braids.  With bundled straw arms and hands.  A green bottle brush wreath with red bow is held with the right hand.  See also DD-0349b-26 for an accompanying wheat stalk held with the left hand/arm.  See also DD-0348a-26 through DD-0348d-26 for a similar corn husk doll and its accessories.  Unattributed.
