Description

A female doll depicting traditional provincial Swedish Christmas folkdräkt, or folk dress featuring a dark green skirt with a scallop-edged white cotton eyelet trim at the bottom over white netting, a white ½-apron with a black floral Swedish braid band with a red ribbon both above and below, and a red ribbon waistband and ties, a dark green vest, a red bodice with black floral Swedish braid trim, a white blouse with a white cotton eyelet ruffled collar and elastic cuffs with red ribbon ties/bows, a red ribbon tied at the neck, and a green Lucia crown with red ribbons.  The doll features a round head covered in beige fabric, beige yarn hair worn in a pair of braids coiled at the sides of the head, linen/fabric hands, a padded fabric torso, and a wood dowl lower body.  See also DD-0352b-26 for a similar doll.  Unattributed.
