Description
A square black silk shawl with a woven floral pattern and knotted fringe on all sides.  Worn by Mrs. John Norquist on ship from Sweden to American in 1869.  See PH-2026-04 for a photo of Alfreda Norquist as a teacher at Big Lake School from 1910.  See also C-0217b-11 and C-0217d-11 for other shawls from the same donor.
