Description

A flat-plane wood carving of an older couple by Loren Larsson made of wood, paint and nails.  Depicts an older man shown in a brown double-breasted jacket, a red shirt, brown pants, a black cap and black shoes, and holding a pipe with his right hand.  The woman seated next to him is shown with a grey jacket, a black skirt, a brown half-apron with horizontal stripes in white, green, black and pink, a blue, green and white plaid headscarf, and black shoes.  The pair are seated on a green wooden bench.  Signed on the bottom of the bench: “L. Larsson” in pencil.  Original Gammelgarden artifact number D-0792-21.
