Description

A black silk shawl with rows of jacquard alternating with rows damask and a woven leaf pattern.  With knotted fringe.  Made in Sweden in the 1800's.  See also C-0588-26 through C-0592-26 for other shawls from the family of Alma Andersen (who brought these shawls with her from Sweden around 1885).
