Description
A plum, or purple, silk shawl with a tone-on-tone plaid, or linear, pattern and triple-knotted fringe.  From the 1700's.  Brought from Sweden to the United States around 1885 by Alma Andersen.  See also C-0588-26 through C-0592-26 for more shawls brought by Ms. Andersen when she emigrated.
