A black and white photograph of a woman in traditional provincial Swedish folk dress or folkdräkt.  The outfit includes a dark skirt, a half-apron with vertical stripes, a vest with embroidery and a laced closure, a white blouse, a white scarf with embroidered decoration, and a fabric cap.  Gold print credits on the front card holding the photograph: “Alb. Edström, Fredsgatan 13, Stockholm.”  Credits printed on the back of the photograph/card: “Alb. Edström, Stockholm, Fredsgatan 13.” (Alb. Edström (1864 - 1924))
