Description
Electric hot plate. Square-shaped metal with four legs. Has a turn knob for controlling heat, on knob is "Off," "High," "Med," and "Low." Electric cord attached to plate body, black with gold lining, red tape at the end with small print, and two-pronged plug-in. Maker's mark on the bottom of hot plate has: "White Cross" (with a cross etched inbetween the words) "National Stamping and Elec Wks, Chicago, U.S.A., 115 V, Model 98, 660W" etched into it. hot plate, electric, late 1930s
